QPR World

I couldn't afford the trip to Bristol City as I had neither the time
nor the money.
In fact, very rarely can I make an away game.

So I, like many others, have taken out a subscription to QPR World
which allows me to listen to live commentary to all QPR matches from
my computer.

Saturday's commentary with Bristol City, however, was not worth 35p
let alone the £35 per year I pay in fees.

While the analyst, Paul Parker, did a reasonable job of summarizing
things, the commentator, Emma Jones, was awful. She had no grasp of
the game, no idea which players were which and she left massive gaps.
I hope I never hear her voice again. My top 3 fave things from her
were:

1) She described how Martin Rowlands took a corner.... and then left a
pause without telling us the result of the corner. It wasn't until
Paul Parker came in 15 seconds later that we learned the corner had
been taken and cleared.

2) She missed the first QPR goal. She was so busy talking about the
Bristol goal, she completely missed Dexter Blackstock's goal. We were
left with, "oh, and QPR have equalised."

3) She told us how Hogan Ephraim, QPR's new loan signing from West
Ham, had been subbed on for the home team.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LET HER COMMENTATE A QPR GAME AGAIN.
